Alon Antebi, D.O.
Board Certified Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon
Due to my inclination to want to fix things, I was drawn to medicine early in life. I’m very lucky — I love what I do!
Dr. Alon Antebi is well-versed in both operative and non-operative orthopaedic care.
He performed the very first anterior-approach hip replacement surgery in the Antelope Valley in 2008. His procedure set the standard for this type of surgery in local hospitals today.
Dr. Antebi contributes a great deal to our community; and we are fortunate to have his skills and dedication. At AVORS he takes care of patients of all ages and from all walks of life -- from newborns with clavicle fractures, to seniors with pelvis or hip injuries.
When we repair one part of the body, it can affect the entire body. Therefore, the patient is seen as a 'total person' -- analysis and treatment focuses on the whole body, rather than specific symptoms or illnesses. And personal, preventative care is paramount to the successful path to ‘whole body’ health.
Whether you require joint replacement surgery, or a more conservative approach, Dr. Antebi will keep you informed and comfortable before, during and after your medical procedure.
Dr. Antebi specializes in a full spectrum of orthopaedic care:
- Hip, knee and shoulder reconstruction
- ACL/PCL injuries of the knee
- Rotator cuff repair
- Shoulder arthroscopy
- Sports injuries, including meniscus
- Conservative sports injury management
- Treatment of complex fracture / nonunion
My approach to all treatments is conservative, with surgery as the last resort. Through detailed communication, my patients become educated about maximizing conservative care.
