Dr. Kofi Agyeman, MD
Dr. Kofi Agyeman is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity care. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami, followed by advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington.
Dr. Agyeman brings a rare combination of clinical precision and systems innovation to his practice. As founder of ASAP Ortho, he developed the first AI-native orthopaedic surgery clinic, and uses that technology to streamline care delivery while maintaining a deeply human patient experience. His work focuses on helping patients recover function and mobility through evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques, and thoughtful, personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Agyeman is currently completing his MBA at UCLA Anderson, where he is a UCLA Biodesign Fellow. His ongoing work aims to make musculoskeletal care more efficient, accessible, and patient-centered through responsible use of innovation and design.
When he’s not in clinic or the operating room, Dr. Agyeman enjoys playing tennis and basketball with his wife, a talented local pediatrician, and tries to find time to play the drums whenever he can.
