Ramon Godoy, NP

Ramon Godoy is a Nurse Practitioner who began working at AVORS in the summer of 2021. Ramon has been treating patients in pain since March 2001 when he obtained his Physical Therapy Assistant certification in Santa Barbara. He then attended Washington State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Following his graduation, Ramon enrolled in the Nursing program at Yakima Valley, passed with highest honors and completed his Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. 

Patient treatment and hard work is nothing new to this seasoned provider. Ramon has worked as a nurse practitioner at a busy Allergy & Asthma center, at multiple post-acute rehabilitation centers in the Northwest, and as an Medical Director of a Vancouver, Washington Laser skin center. 

Ramon’s work within Post-acute care is as a spectrum of post-hospitalization at various Skilled Nursing Facility and Intermediate Care facility levels. His goal as a pain management specialist is to reduce pain and improve function with procedures while minimizing the patient’s use and dependency on pain medications.

  

Ramon holds a Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, an associate of Science, Nursing from Yakima Community College, and a Bachelors of Science, Psychology from Washington State University.



His goal as a pain management specialist is to reduce pain and improve function with procedures while minimizing the patient’s use and dependency on pain medications.


Ramon understands hard work and a busy work pace.  He was the Medical Director of a busy Laser Skin Institute as well as a Medical Director of a Asthma and Allergy Immunology clinic.  He brings this same drive to the Antelope Valley and the patients he interacts with on a daily basis.


Ramon was born in California and was raised locally in Anaheim. On his time off, Ramon enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. He enjoys going to Disneyland with his family and traveling.
