AVORS Medical Group opened a onsite testing tent with cooperation between the City of Lancaster and partnership with LA County to offer COVID-19 testing.  While our tent site has closed, AVORS Medical Group has partnered with Family First Family Medical Practice to perform COVID-19 testing inside Family First Family Medical Practice.  AVORS Medical Group provides testing offsite at your company in many simple settings and performs PCR lab tests directly onsite.  We have made the entire COVID-19 testing simple, easy, and at your location. 

Where are we located?

AVORS Medical Group and Family First Family Medical Practice have partnered to offer COVID-19 testing at our Lancaster, California location.  Testing is performed onsite with an appointment at Family First Family Medical Practice at 42135 10th St W STE 201, Lancaster, CA 93534.  Family First offers testing for COVID-19 with a scheduled appointment by calling us at 661-341-3800.

What testing do we offer?

Family First offers offers testing for COVID-19 in the entire Antelope Valley with a scheduled appointment by calling us at 661-341-3800.

The test used is either a Molecular Nucleic Acid Amplification test (NAAT), a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test via antigens directly from anterior nares swab specimens, or Lab PCR with results are within 30 minutes or at the most 1-2 days.

Please review the information at each location for the latest information. During times of high testing volumes, testing sites may require appointments and limit reasons for testing.

Do we offer company testing?

AVORS Medical Group offers onsite testing for COVID-19 with Molecular Nucleic Acid Amplification test (NAAT) results in 20-30 minutes,  or a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test via antigens directly from anterior nares swab specimens results in 15 minutes, or Lab PCR with results are at the most 1-2 days.

We offer covid-19 vaccines scheduled appointments as well.

Offsite Setup is quick and easy

We show up and only require a power source. We have multiple machines and they each require a power source. We dispose of our own trash.

What is COVID-19:

COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-C0V-2 virus. The virus, which can cause mild to severe respiratory illness, was first identified in Wuhan, China, and has now spread globally, including the United States. There is limited information available to characterize the spectrum of clinical illness associated with COVID-19 but it likely spreads to others when a person shows signs or symptoms of being sick (e.g. fever, coughing, difficulty breathing, etc.). However, it is also believed that a material number of patients can be contagious but show no symptoms of the disease.

Testing Compliance:

We comply with testing standards established by AICP, SAG-AFTRA, FILMLA, and CDC regulations.

When should you get tested for COVID-19?

Please use the following guidance on when to seek testing for COVID-19 during times of limited testing availability:

• If you are having a procedure or surgery: follow your clinic’s directions on if testing is required and when to get tested.
• If you have COVID-19 symptoms: get tested as soon as you can and stay home until you have the results.
• If you were exposed to someone who has COVID-19 and do NOT have symptoms: quarantine according to current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and get tested on day 5, if possible. If you are seeking care during your quarantine, contact your clinic prior to your visit.
• If you need to travel outside of the United States or per requirements for Airlines.  A nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) or a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test will be required to board the plan within 24-48 hours of the flight.
  
• If you do NOT have symptoms and were NOT exposed: you do not need testing; please save tests for those that need it.

If you are otherwise healthy with mild symptoms and cannot find testing availability, you should presume that you have COVID-19 and you should self-isolate according to current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. Please DO NOT go to the emergency department only for a COVID-19 test.
